My jury is still firmly out on the uber-basic tablet, NoteSlate. It's designed by and for designers, obviously... I think... as a next-generation doodle pad or mini whiteboard sort of thing.
There's something irrestistible in the promise of a "pencil editable" user interface, but does the acquisition of Yet another Gadget bring enough thinking-on-paper benefits to beat, er, pen and paper?
Sharing would be handy for creative teams in dispersed locations, of course - and one more nail in the coffin of the desktop scanner, which can't be a bad thing...
I'd like to try a NoteSlate.
Something tells me the only way to judge it fairly would be with hands on.
